Do you ever catch yourself saying things like:
‘I don’t want to’
‘It’s too hard’
‘I can’t do THAT!’
‘I don’t feel like it’
‘I’m not good at that’
These are what we call LIMITING BELIEFS. We all have them at times. They creep into our mindset sometimes without our knowing. Sometimes they are SO INGRAINED in us we don’t even notice that we are thinking them.
I used to be that person. I used to say ‘I can’t A LOT. I was afraid to try new things. I wanted to stick to what I knew & what I was good at. But those thoughts kept me from learning, expanding, & growing. Those thoughts kept me from becoming the best version of me.
I became aware of these LIMITING BELEIFS & worked on making a MINDSET SHIFT. And YOU CAN TOO.
We are all a work in progress and that is OK. That is why it’s called a JOURNEY.
