At H3 Fitness, one of our core services is teaching our clients how to build healthy daily habits to improve their health & reach their fitness goals.

Life can get busy & sometimes you need creative ways to add fitness into your schedule.

Some ladies tend to take the 'all or nothing' approach when it comes to their fitness routine. But, the truth is... it is better to do SOMETHING rather than nothing! Consistency is key when it comes to a fitness routine.

Here's a Simple Sustainable Strategy to imploy on those busy days when a block of time is hard to fit into your day. It's called 10-10-10.

This is how it works:

Break up your fitness routine into 10-minute blocks of time. Complete 10 min before / after breakfast (morning). Complete 10 min before / after lunch (afternoon). Complete 10 min before / after dinner (evening). This will allow you to complete 30 min of exercise for the day, but in small bursts of time.

Choose the type of exercise you will do for the day. This strategy works well for cardio exercise like walking or jogging in place. It works for stretching & flexibility exercises or balance exercises. You can also use this strategy for strength training exercises like body weight squats or leg raises.

It's that simple!

Using this simple strategy can help maintain consistency. Remember... consistency is KEY when working on your fitness & health goals. If you miss one day of exercise, don't beat yourself up... just get back on track the next day. And practice 10-10-10.
